Live at the Double Wide - May 15th, 2009
Posted: May 31, 2009
Our show at the Double Wide was our best one to date. We had the best sound we've
had at a show, we were allowed to use fog without restrictions, and we were on a
great bill with Grady and Orthodox Fuzz: a bill in which the music was closer suited
to something a Butthole Surfers fan might listen to. The lights were awesome with
a huge dose of fog and it made the strobes intense!
If you don't know, Grady is a (inter)nationally touring band signed to Alternative Tentacles who just recently returned from a tour of Canada. They're sort of a Country & Western Honky, if you will. Orthodox Fuzz is a bunch of gear heads into that dirty stoner sludge, and they turned me on to Acid King. Both Grady and Orthodox Fuzz are good people. Check em out!
Please forgive us for the failed experiement that was "Pepper". ;)
